I wanted to give credit to a few of the artists that have really impacted and inspired me. I started my interviews with my dearest friends and fellow Boricuas, Ponce Solo, Jessica Flores & Iris Toro. Today, I want to introduce you to mi hermano y amigo, Bobbito Ross. Bobbito Ross aka Layzor Ghunnzz is a Boriken from Jamaica, Queens. Indigenous Peoples’ Day 1.18.19

Bienvenidos Mi Gente!! About this event on January 18, 2019 we are uniting Indigenous peoples across the world to stand together to bring awareness to the injustices affecting Indigenous men, women and children. Indigenous peoples from North and South America, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean are a target of genocide. “We march because we refuse to be silent!” “We march because we will not be forgotten!” “We march because our time is NOW!” Gathering in Washington, DC on this historic day will be influencers, trailblazers, leaders, media, artists, celebrities, and people that want to make a difference and believe that Indigenous rights are human and environmental rights. Leti’s Carrot 🥕 Cake Recipe

Bienvenidos Mí Genté!! Today I want to share my Carrot 🥕 Cake 🧁 recipe with y’all. Haven’t post anything about baking in awhile so I figured since I was in a baking mood I’d share this with you. Baking gives me a kind of relaxing feeling, I just turn my music 🎶 up and start doing my thing in the kitchen. Food is made different ways but I prefer to make mine with love ❤️. When you cook or bake with love the food just tastes better than if you just cook because you’re hungry or you have to. So, I started with the cake 🍰 mix and mixed everything together as directed but with my own added twist to it. It’s good to follow the directions 🧭 but you can always add your own spin on it. Recipe Calls For: 3 Eggs 🥚 1 1/4 Water 💦 HOT 1/4 Vegetable 🌽 Oil My Spin: 2 TBS Cinnamon or Cinnamon Sugar 1/3 Cup Vanilla Extract Icing: Whipped Butter Créame Cake 🍰 Or Cupcakes: Whether you’re …

feliz año nuevo 2019!! Bienvenido Mi Gente, It’s that time of the year again! New year is knocking on the door with just a couple of hours left before we enter 2019. The New Year is the day that marks the beginning of a new calendar year. It falls on January 1, and is the day on which the year count of the specific calendar used is incremented. New Year, new resolutions and a fresh new start. Every year we pledged to learn something new, then why not start it from today.   “Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne?” If you’re like most people, you probably aren’t totally sure what you’re singing about when you join in for the group rendition of “Auld Lang Syne.” What do these words mean? “Auld Lang Syne” was originally a Scottish poem that was later set to music. The phrase “auld lang syne” translates literally to “old long since” in English and means something akin to “times gone …
